Pilates was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates exercises teach awareness of the breath and the alignment of the spine, and strengthen the core muscles. Your core muscles are the abdomen, oblique’s, lower back, inner and outer thigh and your glutes. If you want to improve your posture and muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.
