Exams

The examination structure of both the ISTD and BBO are designed to cater for those pursuing dance purely for leisure, and for those wishing to progress onto a professional career as a performer or dance teacher.  

Exams, although not compulsory, recognise the progress and achievement of students.  

Both examining bodies are recognised by the Governments' Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations (OFQUAL), the qualifications and curriculum authority.
